(see\u00a0here<\/i><\/a>),\u00a0<\/i>far, far away, under the shadow of Big Four fashion weeks, there is a great fashion market blooming.<\/i>\u00a0Portugal is not just about great weather, great wine and\u00a0great sardines. It\u2019s also about design and\u00a0fashion and the\u00a0last Portugal Fashion Week is the\u00a0best prove to that.<\/p>\n

39th Portugal Fashion took place last weekend in Lisbon and\u00a0Porto. During the four days of fashion shows we could see SS17 collections by 17 designers, two designing duos, five ready-to-wear labels, six footwear brands and\u00a0several young designers associated with The Bloom Platform. You would find everything here, from the classic, monochrome structures to colourful dynamic composition and\u00a0contemporary details. Today we\u00a0present two designers, that are the\u00a0best example of that diversity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Diogo Miranda. Elegance and subtlety.\n<\/p>\n

Diogo Miranda began his professional career in 2007. Since then, he has presented all his collections at Portugal Fashion, but also debuted at Paris Fashion Week in 2015. In SS17 collection he turnes to Cubism, the first avant-garde art movement of the\u00a020th century. Drawing inspiration from African and\u00a0Native American art and sculpture the designer created collection characterised by simpler shapes and brighter colours. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Alexandra Moura. Style for individuals<\/p>\n

Born in Lisbon, Alexandra Moura is specializing in Fashion Design Projects. Since April 2002, she presents her collections seasonally at ModaLisboa and designs costumes for dance performances, artists and\u00a0singers. Moura developed her own unique style, that is visible through both female and male silhouettes. <\/p>\n
