Luxury holding group Kering, that owns Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent and\u00a0also Gucci, has\u00a0recently announced big management changes inside the\u00a0brand – the\u00a0departure of chief executive and\u00a0creative director.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was one of the\u00a0top executive couples in fashion industry. Patrizio di Marco and\u00a0Frida Giannini, that are\u00a0partners not only in business, were at\u00a0Gucci for last ten years.<\/p>\n
Di Marco was\u00a0already replaced by\u00a0Marco Bizzarri on the\u00a0first day of January. Giannini was support to leave after the\u00a0presentation of Gucci fall-winter women’s collection, that she’s been working on, but we already know she left last Friday. This is the\u00a0biggest change in Gucci since 2004, after “losing” Tom Ford. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Gucci has been powerful in the\u00a0fashion industry for almost a\u00a0century. But\u00a0last years were not very lucrative. Many consumers have turned away from Gucci and sales in\u00a02014 slumped by 3.5% comparing to 2013.
