With Simons the\u00a0big time of transformation has started. <\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0first advertising campaign for Calvin Klein&rsquo;s jeans and underwear lines is slightly different from the sex-and-celebrities-infused marketing we were used to see. \u201cAmerican Classics\u201d showcase Calvin Klein&rsquo;s signature items, denim jeans, a\u00a0cotton tank and white men&rsquo;s briefs, alongside the\u00a0contemporary works of famous American artists Andy Warhol, Sterling Ruby, Richard Prince and\u00a0Dan Flavin.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/reservedmagazine.bojarowicz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/tumblr_inline_om3v02tTCE1qgi16c_540.jpg\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/reservedmagazine.bojarowicz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/tumblr_inline_om3v0lC6Sj1qgi16c_540.jpg\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><i><br \/><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&rsquo;s a celebration of Calvin Klein&rsquo;s iconic underwear and jeans; acknowledging their status as Pop and\u00a0showing them in the\u00a0world of art,&rdquo; <\/i>said Raf Simons.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign is a\u00a0testament to how Calvin Klein&rsquo;s classic garments helped build the foundation of American fashion, as much as Warhol&rsquo;s artistic renderings of Marilyn Monroe, Brillo pads and Campbell&rsquo;s soup cans define a\u00a0part of the American art world.<i>\u00a0<\/i>We will definitely keep our eyes open to Simons\u2019 next steps.
