One of\u00a0the biggest fashion houses Louis Vuitton is\u00a0celebrating its 160th anniversary of founding. To\u00a0mark that, six world’s greatest creatives were\u00a0invited to re-interpret the\u00a0iconic LV monogram for a\u00a0limited series of\u00a0bags. What\u00a0did the\u00a0visionaries from art, architecture, industrial design and\u00a0fashion present? Karl Lagerfeld shot all finished projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0"Celebrating Monogram’ project was\u00a0initiated by\u00a0brand’s executive vice president, Delphine Arnault. She\u00a0asked big creators from different industries: Karl Lagerfeld, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Marc Newson, Rei Kawakubo and\u00a0Christian Louboutin to enhance the\u00a0popular LV logo.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Christian Louboutin, shoe designer known from the\u00a0significant red soles, has\u00a0incorporated his scarlet line, the\u00a0monogram and\u00a0Louis Vuitton logo into Shopping Trolley and\u00a0Shopping Bag. “Okay, when you\u2019re going to the\u00a0organic market, you can be super glamorous. You don\u2019t have to feel like a\u00a0loser with your leeks inside your bag”<\/em>, he\u00a0said explaining his choice. We\u00a0can find a\u00a0selection of Fleece Pack backpacks by Marc Newson (product designer), Twisted Box handbag by architect Frank Gehry and\u00a0trio of traveling pieces by Karl Lagerfeld, including Punching Bag, Punching Suitcase and\u00a0Punching Trunk.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
