Fashion mecca – from elegant couture to\u00a0edgy, alternative apparel, Berlin has a lot to offer. Since\u00a0its recent fashion-renaissance, German capital became a\u00a0major place to\u00a0be for buyers and\u00a0sellers. Berlin designers’re drawing big attention and that\u2019s why today we\u00a0want to introduce you some of them: say \u201chi!\u201d to Kaviar Gauche, Esther Perbandt and\u00a0Michael Sontag.<\/p>\n

1. Kaviar Gauche. Couture and\u00a0casual<\/p>\n

The\u00a0label was founded in\u00a02004 by\u00a0two classmates from Esmod, Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and\u00a0Johanna K\u00fchl. As\u00a0soon as\u00a0that, it\u00a0earned hordes of\u00a0fans with their cocktail dresses and\u00a0sultry gowns, being regularly featured in\u00a0Vogue, Elle and\u00a0Interview magazines.<\/p>\n

Designers enjoy a\u00a0Berlin-powered hype, that\u00a0influences their work a\u00a0lot. “Luxury with a\u00a0hint\u00a0of rebellion and\u00a0laissez-faire<\/i>” – that’s how\u00a0K\u00fchl describes their style. The\u00a0hand-made pieces are\u00a0very elegant, with couture detailing, quality fabrics, dynamic cuts and\u00a0textures. And\u00a0very feminine. Transparency and volumes bring a\u00a0sense of cool modern glamour.\u00a0<\/p>\n

2. Esther Perbrandt. Rebelliousness Avant-garde<\/p>\n

Black, black and a bit more black. Together with androgyny, aggressive cuts and\u00a0jagged silhouettes are\u00a0trademarks of Easter Perbrand, born-and-rised Berliner. Her\u00a0boutique located in\u00a0Berlin-Mitte presents the\u00a0latest unisex collections, bags and\u00a0accessories. You\u00a0can pop\u00a0up there, choose your dream garment and\u00a0Esther herself will take your measures and\u00a0produce a\u00a0sample. She\u00a0consults any individual convenience, concerning the\u00a0choice of fabric.<\/p>\n

This year, to celebrate 10 years of label, Esther organised one of the\u00a0biggest off-sight shows of the\u00a0season, open for public. Truly remarkable designer. She’s the\u00a0perfect testimonial for her designs.<\/p>\n

3. Michael Sontag. Feminine Flow<\/p>\n

Young designer Michael Sontag founded his\u00a0label only in\u00a02009 and\u00a0made his debut at the\u00a0Mercedes-Benz<\/i> Fashion Week this year.<\/p>\n

Sontag sees his work as an\u00a0entity. No\u00a0seasons, no\u00a0trends and\u00a0no\u00a0consumer ages. That approach is\u00a0evident in\u00a0the\u00a0clarity of his designs. He\u00a0uses masterful draping techniques, creating very feminine looks for elegant and\u00a0subtle women.<\/p>\n
