Involved in politics since ever, the designer Viviene Westwood started her Spring/Summer 2017 presentation at Milan Fashion Week with a short video addressed to the British Prime Minister David Cameron. She raised her voice against British government, that has illegally detained the Australian hacker for over four years. Aside from politics, Westwood’s collection challenged also gender with androgynous looks and the problem of modern piracy. She always combines fashion with global issues.
