Love to everything retro and vintage has been taken to another level this season. Thanks to creative director Alessandro Michele and photographer Glen Luchford latest SS16 Gucci campaign travels back in time.
Since Alessandro Michele’s become a new creative director, Gucci is settling into new aesthetic. Wanderlust, decadence, whimsy and all things vintage are it’s main inspirations. So different from Tom-Ford-times we are all used to.
Photos were taken by Glen Luchford in Berlin. Campaign stars young, hip models – Polina Oganicheva, Peyton Knight, Mia Gruenwald, Elizabeth Moore and Jacob Hugo Goldhoorn. No matter if the new aesthetic turn at Gucci is our favourite (do we really want to wear flares, brocade suits and patterned bomber jackets again?), the campaign definitely is.
