Karl Lagerfeld and his Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week was a masterpiece. Who would transform the Grand Palais into retro French café “Brasserie Gabrielle” and serve to models and guests pain au chocolat? He would. And he did.
We really don’t know where his inspirations come from, but this man is unbelievable. Just after spectacular Haute Couture collection we wrote few weeks ago (Chanel Haute Couture), he shows “Brasserie Gabrielle” ready-to-wear. A café restaurant except for catwalk, waiters serving coffee and models having small talks around the bar – this is something very unique that marks Chanel position in the fashion business. Chapeau bas!
