Do you know that one of the most popular world’s perfume – Chanel No.5 is a mixture of more than eighty different fragrances? 

Rose and jasmine, bergamot, orris-iris-root, tonka beans, musk, sandalwood, oak moss and amber. Chanel No.5 is a classic and sophisticated fragrance.

The perfume was compounded by Russian-French chemist Ernest Beaux, who was commissioned by Coco Chanel. When he presented the sample scents, Chanel chose the fifth one. “Number five. Yes, that is what I was waiting for. A perfume like nothing else. A woman’s perfume, with the scent of a woman”. 

No.5was launched on 5 May 1921 in Paris.
