When we think about best street fashion, sooner or later we end up in New York. There is no place that offers more multiplicity of styles, forms and colours than The Big Apple. And all you need to find it, is just a stroll. Everyday walk-to-work inspired Stacey Baker, an associate photo editor at The New York Times Magazine to start her “Citilegs” project.
Stacey took the first photo in March 2013 and posted to her Instagram profile. "So, this is what started your legs for days, eh?“, asked her friend.
Indeed. This single picture initiated a giant photo project, documenting the various styles and shapes of women’s legs in New York. Baker shoots random passers-by. Now the "Citilegs” collection is reaching 1000.
