Paris has been the world’s fashion capital for more than three centuries. Fashion Week, famous fashion houses, the best designers and what’s so characteristic for fashion cities – the unique style of citizens. Here Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve and Juliette Binoche were born. Here is a cradle of haute couture. These are the reasons why Reserved chose a trip to Paris as a prize in one of our contests. Paulina, by wining, got an amazing opportunity to visit Paris, see its beauty and live its spirit. Now she is recommending must-see spots for fashion lovers. Mark them in your travelling plans!
Paulina took part in a photography contest we organized in October. The prize was a five days stay in Paris for her and her friend.
Paris is about fashion every step you take. French pay a lot of attention to their looks. Avant-garde, elegance and care for details – that could briefly describe their style. Just find some time to sit in one of the outdoor cafés, typically turned to the main passages, and observe.
Paris is also a city of great fashion houses. Rue Saint Honoré and Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré are where Chanel, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Chloé have their boutiques. It’s unforgettable to walk down the streets and see their windows displays. Avenue Montaigne is popular because of designers’ boutiques. Together with Champs-Elysées and Avenue Marcea, Avenue Montaigne is called a golden triangle, the Mecca of fashion and shopping. Not far away from there, at Rue Cambon is another fashion spot – the old house of Coco Chanel. 
Did you know the bikini was born in Paris? In 1946! Those who like vintage clothes, cannot miss the flee market (Puces de Vanves at Avenue Marc Sangnier and Avenue George Lafenestre 75014). You will find retro, bohemian stuff of all kinds.
Paulina was enchanted with the charm of Parisian beautiful architecture, open spaces, arts and galleries. “Five days in Paris was definitely one of the best moments in my life. The spirit of the evening walks on Champs Elysees, French cafés and colourful lights are unforgeable”.
