The best of Milan FW

Another Fashion Week has just ended, this time in Milan. We’ve chosen the best looks for SS 15. See the up-coming trends from the biggest fashion shows – Armani, Cavalli, Versace, Fendi, Emilio Pucci and of course Dolce&Gabbana.

Giorgio Armani

For spring-summer collection Giorgio Armani took inspirations from natural landscapes. Water and sand are the main themes, that we find in colours, fabrics and subtle prints. The palette is neutral and goes from white, beige, greys and light blue. Armani showed very casual, easy to match garments as well as sparkling night dresses.

Cavalli

Boho is definitely Cavalli’s (and not only Cavalli’s, as you’ll see) trend for spring and summer. Bold, bright colours and psychedelic prints appeared on dresses. Another strong accents are on sparkles – on cotton jackets and skirts, and metallic evening gowns. All Cavalli pieces are beautifully made and look glamour, as always.

Emilio Pucci

Pucci SS15 presents spectacular dresses. Breezy, light and very feminine. Maxi dresses are back again.

Versace

Surprisingly simple and minimal as for Donatella Versace, but also extremely feminine and sexy collection. She made a complete ready-to-wear. Sporty crop tops paired with skirts, elegant jackets, interesting cocktail and evening dresses, handbags and shoes.

“This is about a fresh new Versace, one that is contemporary, clean and strong. It is the way women wear Versace now and in the future,” we read in Donatella’s press release for SS 2015 show in Milan.

Fendi

The first impression from Fendi SS 15 is an architectural inspiration. Karl Lagerfeld plays with sculptural curves, lines and geometric cutouts. The most spectacular are prints – beautiful orchids on dresses, jackets and flower hair accessories.

Dolce&Gabbana

This Italian show closed the official Fashion Week in Milan on Saturday. Strong Spanish influences were visible in colours: black, red and white. Skirts, dresses and jackets are hand embroidered, and bejeweled. Sparkles were always on Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana minds.

Soon all fashion eyes will turn to Paris, the last fashion week of “Big Four” presenting SS collections. We can’t wait!
