We all know fashion designers. Like Christian Dior. Fashion illustrators always seem to play a second fiddle. René Gruau, for example, author of famous Dior advertising illustrations revolutionized the European drawings of that time. His works were presented in magazines like Vogue, Marie-Claire or Elle, and made Dior even more recognizable. Today we introduce young, talented draftswoman and fashion designer – Anna Tomaszewska.
Anna Tomaszewska is known as a drawer and a designer. Fashion illustrations are just a part of her interests, but that’s what we like the most.
Often in her works we can see inspirations coming from catwalks and big collections. Great line and the ability to represent textures and materials bring back the idea of sketches, when the dresses were still at the design stage. That’s pretty amazing.
