Armani Junior has a new face. Young actress with the most difficult name in show business – Quvenzhané, will represent the line for kinds and teens.
Fans of fantasy might remember Quvenzhané Wallis from the movie “Beasts of the Southern Wild”. This role brought her an Academy Awards nomination for the best actress in 2013, also being the youngest ever nominated for an Oscar. Wallis appeared on the red carpet wearing an adorable tulle dress by Giorgio Armani. Her "puppy" purse crossed fashion blogs all around the globe.
In the interview for The Hollywood Reporter she says: “I’m so happy to be chosen by Mr. Armani to be his ambassador for Armani Junior. I felt the same excitement when I got cast for a major film. Me? Wow! I was honoured to wear his custom gown to the Oscars. It made me feel like a princess. When I saw Mr. Armani’s Prive’ show in New York, the dresses were so pretty … I had too many favourites. Afterwards when I met him, I realized Mr. Armani is such a nice man. I liked that he was so thoughtful. It’s fun to wear Armani Junior since I really like the clothes. It’s young. It’s cool. My friends are going to want to borrow all my clothes.”

Let’s hope the fashion industry will forgive Quvenzhané her favourite colour – pink – this sweet girl is only 11 years old! In addition to the autumn campaign, Wallis is working on her new movie, musical “Annie”. We wish her all the best.
